I was so excited when we found out we were having a girl because of all the adorable outfits I was already buying in my mind. Living in Singapore, unfortunately, I don’t have access to some of the usual spots my friends at home shop at, like Target. That doesn’t mean I haven’t found stores that carry the cutest clothing for my daughter!
1. H&M
I would say 95% of K’s wardrobe at this point in her life is from H&M. I have found their baby clothing to be lower cost but still great quality that holds up after many washes. This is my go to place for everyday basics, as well as clothing I don’t mind K getting dirty at school. My favorites from H&M include their toddler leggings, casual play dresses, and adorable neutral sets for little babies. I also get a handful of K’s pajamas from H&M. They are thinner than some other brands, but seem to hold up well over time. Be aware, sizing up to 24 months runs big in my experience. K is now 27 months and all of her H&M clothing are still 1 1/2 – 2 years!
2. Zara
I love browsing Zara for beautiful, well made clothing that I only allow K to wear when she’s going to be with me and I can make sure to quickly catch any stains she might get on them. Because of that, I don’t fill her wardrobe completely with Zara because the price is higher than H&M, and let’s face it, she’s a toddler and I want her to feel comfortable getting messy. My favorite pieces from Zara include classic t-shirts (love anything with stripes), adorable dresses, and shoes that aren’t flimsy or cheap. They also do basics really well.
3. Cotton On Kids
Cotton On Kids has great basics for babies up to 2 years old. I find the toddler and older girl clothing is not as neutral with simple prints like I tend to gravitate towards, so I don’t buy as much clothing there now that K is two. I’ll always go there for cute baby pajamas, onesies, swimsuits, and dresses though!
4. Seed Heritage
Seed has clothing for babies, toddlers, and girls, and it’s all incredibly cute. Pricing is more expensive here, so I wouldn’t shop here for every day basics, but for the occasional outfit, I don’t mind spending a bit more.
I’ve recently just discovered Next, and I’m excited to order some clothing from there for K! Affordable and cute, can’t beat that.
